Manila Palm-Adonidia Merrillii

Description

Manila Palm – Veitchia Merrillii is a small landscape palm, widely cultivated throughout the regions of Malaysia and Philippines. They appeared as a slender, grey trunks, stiff and arching with green leaves. They blossom during summer, with cream-colored flowers in a large cluster at their canopy base. After blossom green light fruits appear, and when these fruits mature during winter then it turns to bright red colour. These Manila Palm are actually a quick growing palm that could reach up to 7.62 m tall.
