Russelia plant (Russelia equisetiformis) – Firecracker plants are multi-branched ornamental shrubs, that are very well known for its coral-red tubular. Mainly blooms from the season of late Spring to fall all year-round. They are also known as Coral plants due their flower appearance. These multi-branched plants basically have no foliage, but are formed in like many weeping green branches with insignificantly small dense leaves. These wiry branches may start with erect but then fall on cascading down. Russelia plants grow up to 180 cm in length and 60 cm in width. They could easily cascade from any walls, or form ground beds. And with their easy growing conditions, they are relevant for mass planting, patios, etc. They could be responsible to bring hummingbirds or butterflies to your outdoor gardens.
