Purple Shamrock

Description

Oxalis Commonly goes by the name of Love Plant or Purple Shamrock. The three lobed purple leaves resembling a butterfly are a visual treat. The intriguing purple foliage close like an umbrella during night or when disturbed; the closed leaves look like a bunch of resting butterflies.. The unusual closing of leaves will also indicate that the plant is not happy where it is placed. Oxalis also give white to Pink flowers from spring to summer, which also close at night. The Oxalis bulbs are easy to propagate and are passed down generations.
