Description
Summer Cypress (also known as Bassia Scoparia) is an annual plant that grows about 1.5m tall and has a much-branched, erect and leafy look. These upright, bushy shrubs are cultivated in a dense appearance with fine green leaves arranged alternately on their stems, and turn red during fall. Summer Cypress also blooms with the clusters of around 2 -6 yellow flowers emerging out of the axils of their leaves, especially during spring to winter season. Each flower is of divided style, and contains 5 stamens, 5 green-coloured sepals, no petals and a large yellow colour anther. These plants are grown as annuals and are easy to care. Their feature of turning from green bush to red with the change of season led them to main attraction in your landscape gardening.
