Asian Pigeon Wings-Clitoria Ternatea

Clitoria Ternatea also known as Gokarna is a perennial flowering herb that belongs to the family of Fabaceae. They are widely called with many common names like butterfly pea, blue pea and Darwin pea. These twining plants bear quite large flowers, which are distinctive with shade of vivid cobalt blue colour and white coloured throat. Their blooming flowers are presented upside down, with keel petals on the top. These plants are easy to care for and require very less maintenance. And so, with all these conditions, they can be considered the perfect plant for a sunny balcony and outdoor garden.
